"Haunts of Gloucester" Candlelight Walking Tours
Do You Believe in Ghosts?

Sponsored by:  Gloucester Main Street Association and Courthouse Players
October 21st:  Beginning @ 7:30pm.  Each tour will last 45-60 minutes!!
Tour groups are limited to 20 people in each group!
10 tours are available!
Tickets:  $10 each; children 6&under are FREE!

Come and walk Main Street  with a Courthouse Player actor as your guide and be transformed into the past while hearing of psychic wonders of White Marsh, tragic teardrops in the snow, mysterious deaths at Rosewell, the multiple mysteries of Old House Woods, and many other Gloucester ghost stories.   You will also be treated to local history facts regarding the Court Circle Buildings.

Black Powder and Paint Living History Weekend,
On October 6-8th 2006, returns to Gloucester Historic Court Circle. 

The weekend features exhibits and demonstrations of crafts from the mid to late 18th century.  Art exhibit featuring work of Lee Teter and other nationally known artists.  Silversmiths, spinners, weavers, gunstock makers, a period clothing seamstress, and a tinsmith are among the artisans.  Cooking demonstrations over an open fire and live music round out the activities.  Period clothing, accessories, beads and wares are for sale all three days.  New this year are "Make a Colonial Ragdoll" classes - advance registration required - class fee $10.  Hours are Friday & Saturday - 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday 9 am to noon.  FREE admission.  For more information, please call 804-693-0014.  Sponsored by Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
